
History
43 -year-old female with a history of ovarian cancer.
Original Diagnosis
CT was reported as normal, and her CA-125 levels were
equivocal.
PET Findings
The whole-body FDG PET scan showed increases metabolic
lesions in the pelvis. These lesions were interpreted as
metastatic disease.
Change in Treatment
As a result of the PET scan findings, the patient will
undergo additional therapy, which will be followed up
with another PET scan to assess treatment effectiveness.
The follow-up scan showed remission in all known tumor sites,
